IDENTITY (PT 2 BULLYING)

 

I John 4:4 - Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

​

Today we continue and finish our bullying topic with IDENTITY, or who are you.  If you are a Christian, then scripture we are sons and daughters of the king of kings and lord of lords. We are part of the family of God, created in His image.  We were made with a life purpose.  

That is what we need to remember when in Spiritual Warfare harassment by bullying instigated by the evil one.  The evil one knows our weaknesses, insecurities, and self esteem issues. His desire is to sneak around and attack at our most vulnerable moments.

Listen to what truth says about this matter,...Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. I Peter 5:8.

So who are you and I?  We are not what other people say about us.  We are what truth says we are.  Again listen to truth,...And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”  John 8:31  Until this locks in our heart, mind, and soul, we will be vulnerable to the schemes of the evil one.  So settle this truth, and it will shape every area of our life.

Holy Spirit lives within you and I who know Christ.  Because of this today's truth reminds us Greater is He that is in Us than He that is in the World!  The evil one may be trying to take us down by using a bully, but He who dwells within us is greater.  

​

Here is a precious truth, I carry daily, and never forget it, it is the words of King David,...

But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?

Psalm 56:3-4

So in conclusion, with God on our side, the enemy can not defeat us.  Listen to this final truth,...If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Romans 8:31.

What can anyone do, when we have our identity in Christ?  Not one thing, PRAISE GOD!

​

Can you say confidently that He who is in you is GREATER, because of your faith in Him His Holy Spirit dwells within you?  If the answer is no, it can be reality today.

​
